fabric dying

I also have been taking a class on fabric dying from Linae Enochson at BSC. We learned shibori and African folding and some others I can't pronounce. We also did silk screen printing. We used cotton squares and procion dyes. Here are a couple pictures of my results. The class has been a lot of fun as every class I've taken from Linae.

Almost Christmas

Here it is almost Christmas and I'm not a very good at keeping up my blog. I will get more yarn and roving up on etsy and ravelry hopefully tomorrow. Today I took some of the pictures and as it is snowy and cold outside.

The yarn is merino and bamboo from FatCatKnits. Very pretty and easy to spin. The roving is Corridale dyed with Jacquard acid dyes.
